As we expand internationally, we are seeking a Guidewire Sales & Practice Lead for UK & Europe: a relationship-driven, strategic sales leader who will shape our go-to-market approach, strengthen alliances, and help position Alchemy as a trusted Guidewire delivery partner across the region.

The role

The Guidewire Sales Lead for UK & Europe will be responsible for building and executing the Guidewire go-to-market strategy across UK and Europe: driving new business, deepening relationships with Guidewire and its partner network, and helping to shape Alchemy’s overall Guidewire capability, brand, and reputation.

You’ll work closely with the US counterpart who leads Guidewire sales in North America, to ensure alignment on strategy, partnerships, certifications, and enablement.

This is a senior commercial role requiring a strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem, established relationships within the Guidewire network, and the ability to build trust with C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of Alchemy’s Guidewire go-to-market strategy for the UK and Europe.
  • Build and evolve Alchemy’s Guidewire practice, including sales proposition, capability matrix, certification roadmap, and alliance positioning.
  • Own the Guidewire sales pipeline across UK & Europe: identifying, pursuing, and securing new SI partnerships and driving revenue growth
  • Develop and execute account-based sales plans and growth strategies for key clients.
  • Act as Alchemy’s face within the Guidewire ecosystem for the region, representing Alchemy at events, user groups, and industry conferences, positioning the firm as a credible and emerging partner.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with Guidewire market, leadership and key partners 
  • Collaborate with the US Guidewire Sales Lead to align on global relationships and leverage existing connections to open new doors.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities to inform strategy and forecast accurately.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Extensive experience in insurance technology sales, alliances, or practice leadership with exposure to Guidewire.
  • Proven background in building or scaling a Guidewire practice or alliance, including go-to-market strategy and ecosystem engagement.
  • Deep relationships across the Guidewire ecosystem 
  • Strong understanding of insurance transformation programmes and the delivery lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue while building long-term partnerships and brand credibility.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently, build structure, and deliver results in a scaling organisation.
  • Based in the UK or Europe, with willingness to travel for client and partner engagements.
