The role

The Pre-Sales Executive will play a key role in developing, managing, and delivering winning client proposals and RFP responses.
Working closely with Sales and the broader commercial and delivery teams, you will support opportunity qualification, proposal development, and client presentations; ensuring quality, consistency and creativity in every bid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to bid, RFP, and proposal responses, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal governance processes.
      • Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, SMEs, Marketing, and Finance to gather inputs and shape compelling client solutions.
       • Translate technical and SME input into clear, client-focused messaging that communicates value, outcomes, and differentiation.
       • Develop proposal storylines, structure and content to ensure each submission presents a clear and persuasive narrative.
       • Create high-quality written proposals, presentations, and supporting materials that position Alchemy’s capabilities effectively for clients and partners.
       • Support opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid decisions through research, proposal planning, and strategic input.
       • Coordinate cross-functional contributions to ensure proposal timelines, inputs, and governance checkpoints are met.
       • Maintain and enhance the bid library and reusable proposal assets, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from bids and client engagements.
       • Track proposal performance and feedback to identify opportunities to improve win rates, proposal quality, and commercial messaging.
  • Support early opportunity shaping by helping sales teams frame solution approaches, key differentiators and value messaging prior to formal RFP stages.
  • Capture feedback from bids, proposals and client presentations to continuously improve reusable assets, win themes and bid strategy.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience supporting bids, tenders, or RFP responses within consulting, technology, or professional services environments.

·       Background in Insurance, Financial Services, or Banking advantageous

·       Candidates from marketing, commercial operations, or proposal management backgrounds within consulting or technology organisations are also encouraged to apply, particularly those who understand how complex services are positioned, articulated, and sold to clients.

·       Ability to translate complex technical or SME input into clear, client-focused messaging and value propositions.

·       Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to structure compelling proposals and presentations.

·       Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across sales, delivery teams, subject matter experts, and senior stakeholders.

·       Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

·       Confident using tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to develop high-quality proposal materials and supporting analysis.
